Analysis of Drugs and Poisons is the new name of the well established Clarke's Isolation and Identification of Drugs. Professor E G C Clarke, who edited the first edition, designed it to be the leading text for the analysis of drugs and poisons, and this tradition is carried on in the third edition. The name has been changed to reflect the greater scope of the monographs which now include many more pesticides and other poisonous substances as well as veterinary products, drugs misused in sport and drugs of abuse.
